Life Events Video began in 1987 as Alan Fitch Video
Production. In 2005, some eighteen years later, we felt the nature of the
videos we produce warranted a new name more reflective of what we do, hence
the birth of Life Events Video.
Our personnel and core business remain the same: producing
creative, professional event-based video tailored to the needs of individuals, families and businesses
in the Sonoma County Wine Country and greater San Francisco Bay Area. Under
the direction of Alan Fitch, this
award-winning production company has quietly built a reputation for unobtrusive camerawork,
polished productions, effective teamwork and custom videography that truly puts the medium

Life Events Video has produced videos for Rebuilding Together, Committee on
the Shelterless (C.O.T.S.), the Greater Petaluma Chapter of the American Cancer
Society and America’s Top Black Chefs
Awards. In August of 2001,
the Petaluma Valley and Petaluma Sunrise Rotary Clubs honored Alan by
presenting him with a Paul Harris Fellowship in acknowledgement of his
contributions to Rotary through his video productions of their annual
“Who’s Who Celebrity Lip Sync” fund raiser. In 2003, Alan also served
as an international judge of the Wedding and Event Videographers Association
annual Creative Excellence Awards in Las Vegas.
